Frees Frame began back in 1992 when, now CEO Dawn Frees, developed a passion for photography. She loved capturing the beauty that the good Lord surrounded us with. From there, friends and family started requesting her services for senior pictures, weddings, family portraits and other events. Dawn’s passion continued to grow for viewing the world through the lens of her Nikon.

Dawn spent 2 years doing advertising photography part-time for a Muskegon Newspaper and at the same time was a part-time Darkroom/Photo Technician for the Ludington Daily News.  Dawn’s enthusiasm for learning all she could about photography and publishing on the Internet eventually earned her a full-time position with the Ludington Daily News.

After 5 years of working with and learning news media, as well as being a part of the conversion from the film to the digital age at the newspaper, Dawn accepted a position in Grand Rapids as a Graphic Artist for a Grand Rapids retail company.

This position allowed Dawn to gain insight and knowledge of the marketing of products and services. Dawn became efficient in her position there and continued to learn different software programs and the keys to proper and effective marketing and remained in this position for 9 years.

But even though Dawn enjoyed being creative in designing marketing pieces and keeping up on the newest technology in marketing, she continued to follow her ever-growing passion for photography.

In 2007, Dawn heard about Real Tour Vision (RTV) and with the support and encouragement of her friends and family, Dawn took a huge leap of faith, quit her job and became a full service virtual tour dealer providing professional photography and property marketing services to the West Michigan area.
